The Retail Automotive Alliance (the RAA) has announced a new partnership with cap hpi to supply vehicle provenance and automotive data.
The RAA is a successful joint venture purchasing group made up of 21 Shareholder Member Companies who have over 220 franchised sales & service outlets across the UK.
The RAA will now use a broad range of cap hpi data including hpi Check, valuation anywhere, new vehicle data, vehicle provenance, live valuations, data warranty, NMR checks and NMR investigation.
Developed as a concept in 2004 by nine Independent Dealer Groups, the RAA is now in its 13th year and sells over 220,000 new & used cars per annum across 25 motor franchises.
Commenting on the new partnership agreement, Wendy Swaine, head of retail at cap hpi said: "The RAA is a significant player in the automotive market, with a combined turnover of over £3.0 billion, positioning it as fifth overall in the UK motor industry turnover league table.”
“This is an exciting new relationship for cap hpi based on a commitment to innovation across our data and services. We are looking forward to supporting the RAA's continued expansion and long-term future vision."
This new deal on vehicle data represents the latest in an extensive range of procurement programmes run by the RAA which deliver considerable dealership cost savings to its Members.
John Matthews, RAA Business Development Director, said: " We have spent over 6 months evaluating the options for our 21 Member companies because the scale of this deal has a significant impact on their profitability at a local level. We are delighted with the outcome and look forward to fully integrating our dealerships with the industry leading cap hpi range of data and technology services.
“The RAA always seeks to leverage its purchasing capability and cap hpi understood this right from the start. It also made sense to us to opt for a comprehensive and joined-up approach to vehicle data management, so these were two key factors in the appointment."
